A representative from Gran's Van, came in this week to collect the cans collected over our Gran’s Van awareness week. He has said that our donation is the biggest single donation he has seen since being involved with Gran’s Van and that we should be very proud. Ms Sussman, the SRC Coordinator, indicated that he was quite impressed. On behalf of Gran's van, he has passed on his thanks from both him and the community.
Last weekend's Senior Secondary Ball proved to be a very successful evening, with the young adults stepping out in style. Covid restrictions for spectators were overcome by live-streaming arrivals. The College thanks the staff from the Paranaple Centre, with students, especially, complimenting the meal.
Last year more than 2,000 students participated in completing TASC surveys sharing the challenges they were experiencing in their studies during the COVID-19 pandemic and what best supports them. This information helped TASC develop supports and adjustments.

This year will mark 20 years for those who finished in 2001 – so it’s time for a reunion. This is open to anyone who was ever this year level at SBSC - whether you finished in Year 10, Year 12 or anywhere in between!
To be held on Saturday 18th December, 2021. There will be an optional school tour in the afternoon and then the reunion at Elimatta Hotel from 5pm.
