Subject Selection

The Subject Information Evening occurs each July to provide students and families with the opportunity to meet with teaching staff and consider subjects to select for the following year.

In 2024 the Subject information evening is being held on Wednesday 3 July, and there will be two sessions.

Session 1 (3:30pm - 5:00pm)*
For current Years 7-9 students - making subject choices for Years 8-10 in 2025.

Session 2 (5:00pm - 6:30pm)
For current Years 10 and 11 students - making subject choices for Years 11 and 12 in 2025.

The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity:

for Years 7-9 students and parents to be able to discuss future elective subjects with teachers
for Years 10-11 students and parents to discuss senior subject choices
to talk to industry visitors to gain insight into career pathways

* Important: At 5:00pm, there will be a short presentation in the Genesis Centre by Mr Gerry Peters for all current Year 10 students and their parents about the transition from Year 10 to 11 in 2025.
